Indefinite pronoun ,वह शब्द होते हैं जो किसी व्यक्ति , वस्तु या स्थान के बारे में सीधा नहीं बताते बल्कि सामान्य तरीके से किसी के लिए उपयोग किए जाते हैं जैसे की –
इस वाक्य को देखो तो आपको समझ आ जाएगा कि इसमें किसी व्यक्ति का नाम नहीं लिया गया है लेकिन सामान्य तरीके से बात कही गई है ।ऐसे वाक्यों को बनाने के लिए ही Indefinite pronoun का इस्तेमाल किया जाता है ।
तुम्हें किसी पर इतनी आसानी से भरोसा नहीं करना चाहिए।
You shouldn’t believe anybody so easily.
भाषण के बाद सभी ने तालियाँ बजाईं।
Everybody clapped after the speech.
किसी ने मुझे मीटिंग के बारे में नहीं बताया।
