Note: वाक्य से यहां समझ आता है कि यह वाक्य भूतकाल से संबंधित है, इसलिए यहां past continuous tense का स्ट्रक्चर लगेगा।

💕 मैं यहाँ 2 घंटे से इंतज़ार कर रहा हूँ।

Incorrect: I am waiting here since 2 hours.

Correct: I have been waiting here for 2 hours.

Note: ‘Since/For’ का इस्तेमाल करते समय ध्यान रखें: “Since” निश्चित समय के लिए होता है और “For” का इस्तेमाल अवधि के लिए किया जाता है। यहां वाक्य present perfect continuous का है, इसलिए “have been” का प्रयोग किया गया है।

💕 वह तुमसे बात नहीं करना चाहता था।

Incorrect: He didn’t wanted to talk to you.

Correct: He didn’t want to talk to you.

Note: ‘Did’ के बाद हमेशा verb का base form (V1) इस्तेमाल होता है, चाहे वाक्य affirmative, negative या interrogative हो।

💕 तुम्हें पहले ही माफ़ कर दिया गया था।

Incorrect: You have been forgiven already.

Correct: You had already been forgiven.

Note: जब बात past की हो, तो Past Perfect Passive (had + been + V3) का प्रयोग किया जाता है, खासकर जब subject का ज़िक्र न हो।

Note: ‘From’ की जगह ‘For’ का प्रयोग किया जाता है क्योंकि यहां duration दी गई है।
