Clause एक ऐसा समूह होता है जिसमें subject (कर्ता) और verb (क्रिया) होती है। यह वाक्य का एक भाग होता है जो अपने आप में अर्थ दे सकता है और नहीं भी दे सकता ।
Clause दो प्रकार के होते हैं:
Independent Clause – यह दूसरे वाक्य पर निर्भर नहीं रहता है इसलिए इसे Independent और Principal clause कहा जाता है।
Example: I like coffee.
(मुझे काफी पसंद है । )
Subordinate Clause – यह clause मुख्य वाक्य पर निर्भर रहता है इसलिए इसे dependent clause कहते हैं ।
Example: Because I was tired (क्योंकि मैं थका हुआ हूं) –
Subordinate Clause के तीन महत्वपूर्ण प्रकारों को सरल शब्दों में समझेंगे:

Adverb clause
Noun Clause क्या होता है ?
यह dependent clause है जो Noun (संज्ञा) की तरह कार्य करता है , उसे Noun Clause कहते हैं।Noun Clause वाक्य में Subject, Object, या Complement की तरह काम कर सकता है।
Noun clause अक्सर “that, what, who, whom, whose, why, when, where, how, whether, if” आदि से शुरू होता है।
ये WH-words से शुरू होते हैं जैसे कि:-

Adjective Clause क्या होता है ?
Adjective clause एक ऐसे dependent clause होता है जो Noun या Pronoun की विशेषता बताए ,उसे Adjective Clause कहते हैं।
ये “who, whom, whose, which, that, when, where, why” से शुरू होते हैं।
Adjective Clause को कहां प्रयोग होता है ?
आसान शब्दों में बोलों तो noun और pronoun के बारे में ज्यादा जानकारी देने हो तोAdjective Clause का प्रयोग करते है।
वह व्यक्ति जिसने तुम्हें कॉल किया था, बाहर इंतजार कर रहा है।

Adverb Clause क्या होता है?
